Brass Boa Constrictor horn with small trumpet. This is a fantastic, authentic reproduction of the inside or under-bonnet Boa Constrictor horn. The overall length of this super horn is just over 6 feet (approx 1850mm). The horn features our large. 90mm diameter horn bulb, brass horn reed, brass eared mount (with 4.75mm diameter mounting holes at 57mm hole centres), tapered brass flexible horn tube, brass collar with riveted 'Boa Constrictor Horn' badge, flared lost wax cast brass elbow finished with a machined brass ring securing the brass fly screen mesh.
The brass collar is fitted with a soldered and screwed cast saddle mount, attached to a 4" long L shaped mounting bracket with an interlocking taper and domed nut connection. The L shaped mounting bracket base has an undrilled brass casting that can be drilled to suit at up to 60mm hole centres. While this attractive horn was often originally mounted under bonnet it can also be mounted externally. The tapered flexible horn tube can be bent into the position required, though should not be twisted relative to the collar. Original examples of this horn are now extremely rare, and we are pleased to be able to offer this well-made reproduction item. We offer this horn in polished brass or nickel plated finish, complete with Boa Constrictor horn badge as original. A super recreation, faithfully reproduced from an original pattern and made in Britain.
