High quality 12 (6 per side) x Cree LED upgrade for SBC BA15D head and spot lamp bulbs from the '20s to the '50s. This is a SINGLE BRIGHTNESS LED lamp with a double contact base - one live contact and one earth contact on the base. This is an alternative to single brightness LED head and spot lamps with the BA15S single contact cap - that have a single (live) contact on the base and earth back through the cap. Flexible application - suitable for 6 or 12V vehicles and compatible with either negative or positive earth systems. Horizontal LED arrangement equivalent to Transverse filament. 1200 Lumen bright white beam with a soft beam pattern.
Brighter than 12V incandescent bulb B26 (60W) in testing. Very low current draw - over 75% less than incandescent and halogen bulbs so great for low powered, vintage electrical systems (800mA at 12V, 1.6A at 6V). 4300K bright, white colour temperature.
This bulb is a great LED upgrade alternative to a number of brighter 6, 12 and 24V BA15D SINGLE FILAMENT head and spot lamp bulbs including 6V - B78, B111 and 12V - B5/B33, B27B, B26. Made from aviation grade aluminium. These bulbs don't have an integral lens so can be used in tripod type lamps.
