Premium leather bonnet strap, made to measure top strap but with open ended side straps for customer cutting and fitting. Available in high quality brown or black leather. 1 1/2" wide (38mm). This pattern is made as a three part strap - with two buckles on the 'bow tie' top strap, pointed end plain straps for both sides. Felt lined with buckle protector pads as standard. Please note - the pointed/plain ends are open ended (without staples) to allow customer fitting - fixings and hole punch are supplied to enable fitting. The top strap with buckles is made to order - please specify the length required from the roller end of one buckle to the roller end of the other buckle. Theses straps are usually made within 10 to 14 days of order.

Standard features of this premium strap:
Supplied with two chrome on brass staples for 1 1/2" belts, a leather hole punch and 4 stainless steel Chicago screws. When fitting, assemble the strap on the bonnet (using the middle of the 5 holes punched into the plain ends) and measure up the required fitted length of belt allowing for approximately 3" to be fed through the mounting staples, doubled back and secured back through to the strap. Then cut the ends of the side straps to the length required, doubling them through the staples and securing with the screws through the holes you make with the leather punch supplied.
As an example, with a top strap length of 60cm from the roller end of one buckle to the roller end of the other buckle, when assembled with the side straps the maximum bonnet dimension the strap will fit (assembled on the middle holes) would be 75" (190cm) allowing for the curve of the leather through the buckles and 3" of leather folded over at each end and back through the staples for securing.
