Chrome on brass reproduction of Wilmot Breeden part number M1043/5. This attractive centre mount sun visor bracket was used on the MG Y Type, Morris MO Oxford, MM Minor and Wolseley 6/80. Also used on some MGAs. Friction can be increased by tightening the hex bolt on one end. The visor (excluded - customer supply) is clamped by a triangular back plate attached to the main body of the hinge by two raised head, slotted screws. The hinge is also almost identical to Wilmott Breeden part number 7/4409 with many more applications, originally supplied with either a 13" (330mm) by 4 3/4" (120mm) or 16 1/2" (419mm) by 5 3/16" (132mm) visor. Visors are commonly made from hard board and upholstery foam to the size you require and covered in leather, leathercloth or headlining.
