Castrol Classic TQF (SAE20)- Automatic transmission fluid for Classic Vehicles. Specific Non Friction Modified SAE20. Incorporates additives to provide wear, oxidation, and corrosion resistance. Can be used where ‘Castrolite’ is specified for primary chain case or gearbox. Can be used for classic motorcycle front forks. Classic TQF is an automatic transmission fluid specially formulated from high quality mineral oils and incorporates various additives to provide wear, oxidation and corrosion resistance. The product is dyed red to distinguish it from crankcase oils should leakage occur. Classic TQF was specically formulated to meet the requirements of the now obsolete Ford automatic transmission fluid (ATF) specification ESW-M2C-33G / -33F as required for many older transmission used in classic vehicles. It may also be used as a general hydraulic fluid or power steering fluid where the Manufacturer specifies the use of an ATF. It should not be used where MERCON® or DEXRON® type fluid required. Castrol CLASSIC D140 •Monograde ‘straight’ low EP gear oil •For most types of gear including helical, spur, bevel, and worm •API GL-3 Classic D 140 is a high viscosity gear oil formulated with high quality mineral oils. It is fortified with an anti-oxidation and anti-wear additive to ensure that the oil is able to withstand the oxidising conditions which are present in gearboxes/ axles during service and to ensure that the gear teeth are protected against wear. Application Classic D 140 is suitable for the lubrication of most types of gears including helical, spur, bevel and worm; but must not be used for hypoid gears where API GL-4 or GL-5 oils are recommended. The high viscosity and type of additive system make it particularly suitable for use in older vehicles where some wear with age may have occured or where the lubricated application may contain sensitive metal (yellow) components (eg. brass/bronze). Application Classic EP 140 is recommended for the lubrication of conventional spiral bevel final drives and mild hypoid axles where API GL-4 oils are recommended. It may also be used to lubricate spur and helical gears and for other applications where the manufacturer specifies the use of a high viscosity oil meeting API GL-4. Its high viscosity makes it particularly suitable for older vehicles where some wear with age may have occurred. It should not be used in high off-set hypoid axles where API GL-5 oils are typically recommended or in axles with limited slip differentials.
